Discover the Best Trails and Summits Around the World
Are you looking for a way to explore the great outdoors and take in some of the most stunning views in the world? Hiking is one of the best ways to do just that. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hiker, there are plenty of amazing destinations around the world that offer something for everyone. Here are some of our top recommended hiking destinations.
Patagonia, Chile and Argentina
Patagonia is a vast region located at the southernmost tip of South America and shared by Chile and Argentina. It is home to some of the most incredible landscapes on earth, including snow-capped mountains, glacial lakes, lush forests, and rugged coastlines. The region offers many different trails for hikers of all levels, from easy day hikes to challenging multi-day treks. One of its most popular trails is Cerro Fitz Roy in Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina. This 10-mile round trip hike takes you through stunning scenery with breathtaking views from atop this iconic mountain peak.
Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain peak and one of its most popular hiking destinations. Standing at 19,341 feet tall, it’s no surprise that reaching its summit requires a bit of preparation and determination! There are several routes available to reach its summit depending on your experience level; however, we recommend taking on the Lemosho Route which takes 8 days to complete. Along this route you will be able to enjoy spectacular views as well as get up close with local wildlife such as elephants and buffalos.
Annapurna Circuit Trek, Nepal
The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of Nepal’s most famous treks with breathtaking views along its entire route. This trek takes anywhere between 14-21 days depending on how long you want to take exploring each section along your journey. You will pass through lush forests filled with exotic wildlife before reaching Thorong La Pass which stands at 17,769 feet high—the highest point on this trek! Once you reach this point you will be rewarded with magnificent views of Annapurna Massif before heading down into Muktinath Valley where you can explore ancient Hindu temples and monasteries.
Yosemite National Park, USA
Yosemite National Park in California is home to some of America’s most iconic landscapes including Half Dome Mountain and El Capitan rock formation—two popular spots for climbers around the world! For those who aren’t quite ready to tackle these extreme climbs yet can still enjoy Yosemite’s beauty by taking part in one (or more!) of their many day hikes ranging from easy walks around meadows to more challenging treks up waterfalls or granite peaks like Clouds Rest or Lembert Dome Trailhead.
No matter what your experience level may be there are plenty of incredible hiking destinations out there waiting for you! So why not start planning your next adventure today?
